Ayurveda is a holistic science that looks at wellness as a whole: perfect health is defined as a state of balance between mind, body, spirit, and social well-being. Rather than treating only the symptoms, Ayurveda focuses on finding and treating the root cause of disease. We will conclude with a Heart Light Meditation.

Susan Helmstetter is a Certified Yoga Instructor receiving Yoga Teaching Certifications from the Kripalu Institute in Lenox Massachusetts, and Yoga Synthesis in Ramsey, New Jersey. Susan is also a certified Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner.
She currently teaches yoga classes for Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Wellness Center, Chair Yoga at the Jewish Federation Plaza Housing and Village Apartments for seniors, as well as her own classes at the Federated Church of Livingston.
Susan’s style of yoga is on developing an awareness of one’s inner core stillness, through Yoga postures, breathing techniques, and a focused, yet compassionate attitude to find and release energy blocks.
